Booking Terms & Conditions
Thank you for choosing Aster & Veil Makeup Artistry. Please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully before making your booking. By paying a booking fee, you agree to the terms below.
Booking Fee
A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your appointment.
Your booking is not confirmed until the booking fee has been received.
If you are paying remainder by bank transfer then the remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days before your appointment, cash is fine on the day of the event.
Payments
Appointments booked within 7 days of the appointment date must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in your appointment being cancelled and unable to book any future appointments.
Cash is the preferred payment for the remainder balance but bank transfers are accepted.
Cancellations
Booking fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
If you cancel your appointment:

More than 30 days before your appointment, any payments made (excluding the booking fee) will be refunded.

Within 30 days of your appointment, all payments are non-refundable, as your appointment has been reserved exclusively for you.
Rescheduling
One date change may be accommodated if requested at least 30 days before your appointment, subject to availability.
Requests made within 30 days of your booking cannot be guaranteed and may require a new booking fee.
Bridal Bookings
A bridal trial is highly recommended before your wedding day to ensure your chosen look is perfected.
Aster & Veil Makeup Artistry cannot accept responsibility if a bridal trial is declined and changes are requested on the wedding day.
Touch-up services for weddings and all-day attendance can be quoted separately.
Arrival
Please arrive with a clean face, free from makeup where possible.
Moisturiser and skincare may be applied unless advised otherwise.
Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may reduce your appointment time to avoid delays for other clients.
Additional People
Only clients included within the booking will receive makeup services.
Please advise in advance if additional people require makeup.
No children at appointments unless they are receiving the service.
Please avoid bringing additional guests, unless agreed in advance.
Please switch mobile phones to silent during your appointment so you can relax and enjoy the experience.
Allergies & Medical Conditions
Clients are responsible for informing Aster & Veil Makeup Artistry of any allergies, skin sensitivities or medical conditions before their appointment. A patch test is available upon request.
Photography
Photographs and videos may be taken during or after your appointment for portfolio and social media purposes.
If you would prefer your images not to be used, please let me know before your appointment. Your wishes will always be respected.
Hygiene
Strict hygiene standards are followed at every appointment.
Disposable applicators are used where appropriate, and brushes and tools are thoroughly sanitised between every client.
Satisfaction
Every effort will be made to ensure you are completely happy with your makeup before leaving your appointment.
Once you have approved your finished makeup and left the appointment, refunds cannot be provided.
Travel
Travel charges may apply for mobile appointments and wedding bookings outside my local area.
Liability
Aster & Veil Makeup Artistry cannot be held responsible for allergic reactions where no allergy or sensitivity has been disclosed.
While every effort is made to ensure makeup longevity, wear may vary depending on individual skin type, weather conditions and aftercare.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Privacy
Any personal information collected during your booking will be used solely for appointment management and will never be shared with third parties without your consent, unless required by law.
Booking Policy
By paying your booking fee, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
